On first enquiry Gina  will arrange to come and meet you to discuss things and see where we would be picking your dog up from and any specific routines to follow when we drop them home.  Once we have done first introductions Gina would walk for the first one or two walks to get a feel for the dog and see who they best socialise with, then they would slot onto walks with one of our lovely ladies for our Monday – Friday walks.

We have a variety of walks to suit both dog and owner; we have our oldies club for dogs who want to get out and socialise and have a good old sniff but at a slow steady pace. This can also be a good group for those recovering from injury or operations who need to start back at exercise in a controlled and steady way. We also support some elderly clients who don't have relatives nearby if they need a little help with trips to the vet, advice and support, or just a friendly face.

Keys, timings and  Collections: it is preferable  to have a key of our own instead of one being hidden. We have full insurance that covers loss of keys whereas we aren’t covered at all for hidden keys. All keys get signed in and out of the key safe when used and have a coloured tag with the dogs name only.

Depending on how old your pup is as to how long we walk them for. We won't walk dogs under six months old but dogs over 1year will be able to go for full hour walks. Anything in between will very much depend on the breed of your pup, their age and your requirements so please contact us to discus.

For those on hour walks we normally have three set collection times 8.45am 10-10.45am and 12.30-1.15pm . Group walks are done in groups of up to 6 dogs.

For half a hour walk we normally collect between 11-11.30am. This is often popular for young dogs and the elderly. We do run 'Oldies club' for those just wanting half an hour to stretch their legs and meet some friends but not go very far - plese ask!​

Our walks: We collect the dogs in our vans at a time arranged. Our vans have a supply of treats, first aid kits, spare collars, hundreds of towels, leads , bowls and water for drinking and also water and shampoo for occasions where something stinky is found to roll in!  We do return dogs as clean as we can (which sometimes proves tricky as everywhere is so wet and muddy during winter months!). We don’t ever use your leads just in case we loose them or they get dropped in a muddy puddle but we will use your dogs own harness to ensure a good fit if one is required!

We take the dogs in our vans to local walks such as Battlesbury Hill, Elm hill, Middle hill, Heytesbury Bowl, Southleigh woods.  Your dog can be let off lead if you have signed permission on your form and they have good recall!  For group walks dogs are walked in a group of up to six dogs (as per our licence and insurance) . We also offer individual walks for those not so sociable (both half an hour or an hour walks are available).

Things to note:

*We will not charge for cancelled bookings however if we arrive and find we aren't needed the full price for the service will still be charged.

​

*Saturdays are charged at normal rate.

 

*Sunday services will be charged at one and a half rate.

This includes walks, visits and day care BUT NOT holiday boarding.

 

*Bank holiday services will be charged at double rates for ALL services including boarding and housesitting if the booking is for less than three days. Bookings of more than three days will not be charged extra.

* Any visits / walkers to be collected etc, beyond our seven mile radius will be charged at 55p per mile there after for the outbound and return journey.

Note: We dog walk in most weathers, however in the event of thunder and lightning we will contact you to say we won't be walking but we will do home visits to all dogs that are scheduled for walking.  If it is excessively hot we will contact you to arange earlier walks and may cut walks short for the safety of the dogs. In hot weather we walk in shady areas and at a slower pace!  DOGS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A COLLAR AND TAG AT ALL TIMES.
